After the release of the Mustang-based 435S, users were feeling unfulfilled with the changes on the visual-end of Saleens new Mustang. While the 435S does offer a Saleen Series VI twin-screw supercharger, 5-speed manual, 3.73:1 gears, sport-tuned suspension, and 14-inch brakes to boot; we cant be blamed for feeling shorted on a visual package.
According to Autoblog, Saleen has released three teaser images of the 2010 Saleen S281 Mustang on their Flickr page.

Well, the money issue isnt really a factor in purchasing a beast like this, but even so Saleen buyers want their cars to SCREAM Saleen when driving down the road. They want spectators to see something familiar yet obviously different in their Mustang-based Saleens. In answer to that statement, Saleen Performance Vehicles will be debuting their 2010 Saleen S281 Mustang at this years SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV.
Rather than being extremely vague and mysterious, these teaser pictures actually show a very decent amount of skin. The rear, direct front, and side front views of the car have been flaunted and we definitely approve. Wed also like to note that it seems everyone is enjoying what Saleen has done with the 2010 Mustangs rear end. I dont know if Id rather call it an improvement or a fix, but its definitely good. Because of the teasers, we are now anxiously looking forward to seeing the Saleen S281 in all of its glory next month at SEMA in Las Vegas, NV.
