Behind the wheel of his Subaru WRX, Ken Block managed to win the 100 Acre Woods Rally four consecutive times. Now though, Ken Block races for Ford behind the wheel of their flagship Fiesta Rally Car. The start of his first season driving for the Blue Oval was a bit off-putting, with a broken suspension mounting bolt failing in the seventh stage. This earned him a DNF, but back on familiar ground, Block looks to earn back some face.

This video from Monster World Rally shows Block and navigator Alex Gelsomino getting in their practice runs for the 100 Acre Wood rally.

Unlike the American Rally season opener in Atlanta, Michigan, called Sno*Drift, the 100 Acre Wood Rally should be devoid of snow and cool temperatures. The race takes place in Salem, Missouri, and is named after the home of children’s book character Winnie the Pooh. It sits near the edge of the Ozark Mountains, with plenty of twists, turns, ups, downs, and tight corners.

The video makes us admire Mr. Block’s skills behind the wheel all the more. Aside from the hazard posed by lots of wet leaves, there are narrow bridges and lots of trees to be on the look out for as well. Block certainly can handle the Fiesta; the question now it seems, is can the Fiesta handle Ken Block?
