With the current Boss 302 being the most track-capable Mustang ever produced, it’s doubtful that many people consider it a practical car. For a sports car, though, the Boss 302 makes for a better daily driver than most. Unlike many vehicles with similar performance capabilities the Boss 302 actually has fairly usable rear seats that can easily fit children and even full size adults on short trips.
But what about those with infants and toddlers? Can the Boss 302 fit a child seat as well as it can lap Laguna Seca? The guys over at Cars.com aimed to find out, and tested out a variety of child seats in the back seat of a 2012 Mustang Boss 302. After adjusting the front seats for a 6-foot driver and a 5-foot-8 passenger, Cars.com installed a booster seat, a convertible seat and an infant-safety seat to see how they all fit. Head on over to the Cars.com web site to see the results.
