JLT Performance has announced their new Super Big Air Intake System for the 2010+ Shelby GT500. Designed for cars with aftermarket supercharger systems from Whipple or Kenne Bell producing 800 rwhp and higher, the intake system features a new carbon fiber tube with a built-in 155mm MAF housing and a full 5.5-inch opening to connect with a twin 75mm throttle body. It takes a lot of hard work and concentration to simply finish a 24 hour endurance race, although you can be sure that the driver of this Mustang figured it would be behind the wheel rather than behind the car. That was the case this past weekend, though at the Spa 24 Hour race at Circuit Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium where the VDS Racing Adventures team was competing with a Ford Mustang in the GTR class.
