In addition to a few design tweaks, the biggest change to the Shelby GT350 for 2013 is the availability of Ford’s entire color lineup. Over forty Cobra Jet owners participated in the 2nd annual Ford Racing Cobra Jet Showdown presented by Diversified Products Marketing. Held in conjunction with the August 23-26th National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) event at Milan Dragway in Milan, MI the Cobra Jet Showdown was a homecoming for the Cobra Jet’s built nearby at the Automotive Alliance plant in Flat Rock, MI.

This year is the 50th anniversary of Shelby American, marking half a century since the first Cobras rolled out of the a modest assembly plant in Los Angeles. The 2012 Mustang Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by WorldCause Foundation, came to an end on July 4, 2012. Timothy Millard from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, was the grand prize winner.
