When Ford launched the new Mustang online customizer earlier this year, users could not only build their virtual dream Mustang using dozens of custom parts but actually have a chance to win it. Amazingly, over five million customized Mustangs have been created by fans using the site, and now Ford has made good on their promise and delivered the first car to its lucky new owner. A long time Mustang fan, James used to own a 1994 SVT Cobra but sold the car to pay for his wife’s engagement ring. He created and shared more than 120 Mustangs on the customizer, earning him enough points to be declared one of the winners.

To make James’ Mustang a reality Ford turned to Galpin Auto Sports who installed the custom parts on the car at their Southern California shop. A set of Roush 20-inch wheels, Shelby GT500 rear spoiler, 3d Carbon  front spoiler and Ford Accessories side scoops give the car a clean and simple look.

Delivering James’ Mustang was none other than 2010 Formula Drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.
