Ford Mustang sales held the line in the month of April, both in terms of month-to-month and year over year numbers. Ford dealers sold 7,751 Mustangs in April, just short (0.6%) of the 7,801 Mustangs sold in the same month last year. The sales also represented a slight increase compared to March 2013 sales, in which 7,688 units were sold. Overall for the year Ford Mustang sales are down a little more than ten percent, 25,071 sold compared to 27,934 sold this same time last year. On a positive note, April represented the fourth straight increase in month-to-month sales since a dismal January.

Overall Ford sales were very positive, with both Fusion and Escape setting records for April, up 24 and 52 percent respectively. The F-Series also had an excellent month, posting a 24 percent increase compared to the previous year.
