Evolution Performance “Green Goblin” Mustang

Evolution Performance set a new benchmark by being the first to run 8s in the 2013 Shelby GT500, and now the boys from Aston, PA at it again by setting a new record for the world’s fastest 2011 Mustang 5.0 nicknamed the Green Goblin. The deed was done at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH this past weekend as part of the McLeod Racing NMRA Ford Nationals where Evolution Performance were competing in the 5.0L Mustang shootout, a class pitting the world’s fastest 2011 Coyote-powered Mustangs against one another. By the end of the weekend the “Green Goblin” had not only beaten all challengers and won the event, but they had set a new record with an incredible 8.46 second pass at 163.3 mph.

Evolution Performance managed to get some pretty good footage from the weekend as well, including the record setting pass.
