We have a fondness for the Forza Motorsport franchise, not only for its realistic driving physics but for the incredible of selection of cars and racetracks. If we did have one complaint, though, it’s that there’s a shortage of Ford Mustangs, particularly late model ones. In the latest variant of the game, Forza 4, there is a decent amount of classic Mustangs including the ’65 Coupe, ’70 Boss 429 and ’71 Mach 1, and thankfully all of the Cobra R variants (’93, ’95 and ’00) are included as well. As …

Every August thousands of muscle cars and hot rods gather in Detroit for the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, and the Ford Mustang plays a huge role in the event with its own area known as Mustang Alley. Hundreds of Mustang owners converge on the Motor City for the event, making for one of the largest gathering  of pony cars on the planet. This year looks to be one of the largest yet, with more than 700 Mustangs expected to attend.
Ford play a very active role in Mustang Alley, part of …

On paper the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 may not look like it’s much different than the 2012 model, and in all honesty it’s the truth. The exterior design has been tweaked, the graphics package changed, and a few options have been added to the interior. Even so, out of  all the 2013 Mustang lineup the Boss 302 sets itself apart visually the most of any model from the previous year. This was no more evident when we had the opportunity to check out a School Bus Yellow Boss 302 at …

Today Ford Racing Performance Parts announced that its TracKey calibration will be available for the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 starting on May 1st. In case you don’t remember, TracKey is a 50 state legal aftermarket engine performance software upgrade for the 2012 Boss 302 and Laguna Seca. Designed to optimize Boss 302 for track use, TracKey uses many of the same software algorithms and features employed in some of Ford Racing’s turn-key race car such as the Boss 302R, Boss 302S, and Cobra Jet.  In addition, TracKey also allows owners …

After a successful 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Season, finishing 2nd in the GTS championship, Capaldi Racing is returning for the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge season with an all-new car and team. GSP Racing and Capaldi Racing have teamed up with driver Alfonso Perri, Total Performance Engine Oils, and Dell’s Cherries to campaign the #26 Total/Dell’s Cherries 2013 Mustang Boss 302S in the GTS class.
This will be Alfonso Perri’s first year in the Pirelli World Challenge. He started racing karts when he was 11 years old and quickly moved to Europe to …

Perhaps one of the biggest complaints regarding the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 was the color schemes for the Laguna Seca model, and many Mustang enthusiasts weren’t happy with the silver/red and black/red paint combinations. Ford responded to those complaints for the 2013 model year by offering the Laguna Seca in all new colors. We were able to see the School Bus Yellow / Sterling Gray combination in the car that debuted at the LA Auto Show in November, but were even more eager to see the Black / Sterling Gray …

Ford isn’t debuting anything Mustang related at the North American International Auto Show this year (rumors of a Shelby GT500 Convertible ended up being false), but that doesn’t mean there isn’t Mustang news here in Detroit. Ford is displaying a 2013 Mustang Boss 302 in Gotta Have It Green, a new color for 2013. This is the first time the new color has been officially shown by Ford, although a couple examples were spied back in November. Now the only new color we have yet to see is Deep Impact …

2013 Mustang Boss 302 debuts in Grabber Blue

Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

In addition to the styling and graphics changes to the Mustang Boss 302, a new slate of colors is also being offered for 2013. School Bus Yellow, Grabber Blue and Gotta-Have-it-Green have been added to the pallet, while Competition Orange, Kona Blue and Yellow Blaze have been dropped. Both Performance White and Race Red will remain options.
We’ve already seen the Boss 302 in School Bus Yellow in both the press photos and from the L.A. Auto Show, and a few spy photos gave us a sneak peek of Gotta-Have-it-Green. Now …

One of the many changes for the 2013 Mustang is the availability of new color options. We’ve posted plenty of images of the 2013 Boss 302 in the new School Bus Yellow including both the official photos from Ford as well as our own shots from the L.A. Auto Show, but many Mustang fans have been very curious about another one of the new hues – Gotta Have It Green – ever since it was leaked that the color would be offered for 2013. While Ford hasn’t released any official …

We’ve already shown you nearly every angle of the 2013 Mustang Boss 302, whether it was the original images released by Ford or our own photos form the L.A. Auto Show. If that’s not enough for you, Ford has just released even more photos of the 2013 Boss 302 showing new angles and details of the car. There’s not much we haven’t seen before, but the pictures will give you a fresh view of the redesigned front end, the new 1970-inspired graphics and several more images of the interior including …
