Galpin Auto Sports has built quite a few widebody Mustangs over the last couple of years, starting with the Shelby GT500 that debuted at SEMA in 2010. We’ve been following the progress of this custom Mustang Boss 302 since we first saw it under construction at Galpin Auto Sports, and now it’s finally been unveiled at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. So what’s so special about this Boss 302? For starters, Galpin has given it their trademark widebody treatment, adding an incredible nine inches to the width of the car via hand-made steel body panels. SEMA 2011: Forgiato Wheels Widebody Mustang

Forgiato produces various sizes and designs of forged wheels, and some of their latest are fitted to this custom 2012 Mustang in the Ford booth. The wheels are simply massive – 21×10.5 in the front and 22×13 in the rear, wrapped with Pirelli tires. The exterior features a widebody kit fabricated by TC Designs complimented by a 3d Carbon front and rear fascia and a Trufiber ram-air hood, all finished in a custom PPG matte finish.
